Shoveler (Anas clypeata)

Medium Duck with relatively short neck and a long, wide tip. Drake in breeding plumage with distinctive green head, white chest and brown belly and flanks. The female Duck is reminiscent of the Mallard. Breeds on shallow, nutrient-rich waters and often wintered in Western Europe or in tropical Africa.
