Frigate bird (Fregata)

Frigate birds are a common family of oceanic birds in the tropics and subtropics in the order of Pelecaniformes. They are known for the red inflatable throat pouch of the males, and their ability to attack other birds and snatch their prey. From this behavior, they have gotten their name, which refers to attacks of frigates. Frigate birds have a slim body and a short neck. The head is short, forked tail deep. They are very good fliers, but due to the shortened legs hardly walk or swim.
