Osprey (Pandion haliaetus)



The osprey belongs to the order of birds of prey. The type is distributed worldwide and is also found in Central Europe. The body length is 50-65 cm, the spanwidth 1,30-1,75 Meters. Females on average are larger and heavier than males. Back and upper wing surface are uniform dark brown, underside of the hull, throat, legs and the predominant part of the forearm ceilings are bright white.
