Bearded Tit (Panurus biarmicus)

The bearded titmouse is closest related to the larks. Breeds colony-wise in extensive reed beds, the food consists of insects and reed seeds. Mostly reveals itself by shouting, also in flight. Mostly annual birds, in unfavourable years some populations grow in autumn, persistent troops are often severely decimated in severe winters.
